Film Afrika is the leading sustainable service production company in South Africa.

Film Afrika delivered an ALBERT 3-star rated show, Noughts & Crosses S1, as early as 2019 and is the only production company in South Africa to have delivered ALBERT-certified productions. Film Afrika together with their producing partners have funded the GREENSET Carbon Calculator and the GREENSET training program. In addition, they have also launched the sustainable film production program in South Africa, making it possible for all productions to onboard sustainability trainees and to minimise and measure their carbon footprint. GREENSET is a non-profit company, a branch of the SA Film Academy. A total of 30 Eco Stewards and Green PAs have been trained.

Working with the GREENSET sustainability graduates to decarbonise the film industry, Film Afrika productions funded the building of a Polyurethane recycling machine, this machine has revolutionised the recycling of Polyurethane, a global first in the industry. Film Afrika continues to work on each production with GREENSET to reduce, reuse and recycle.
